My work with consultants, entrepreneurs, change agents, and nonprofits on their websites stems from one clear principle: that websites should be accessible to and empowering for all. It’s as simple as that.
I’ve been designing websites since 1998. I also founded a web design firm, Dream Seed Multimedia, in 2006. After ten wonderful years working with small businesses and nonprofits in Lancaster County, Pa., and all over the U.S. and Canada, I closed Dream Seed in 2016 to reduce and refocus my website work to be with people who make a difference in the world. With my extra time, I am also working on two new business startups.
In addition to my years as a web designer and developer, I have eight years experience as an English teacher in a public high school. My years as a teacher have served me well in assisting clients understand and work with their websites without the burden of confusing technical terminology.
Working with students and families in the school setting, along with serving on the board of a local advocacy nonprofit and as a board chairperson of a social justice-oriented church, has given me appreciation for the work of those who strive to make a difference in the lives of people in the world around them.
When I am not working on websites or with my other businesses, I love spending time with my husband, Anthony, at home, traveling, or riding roller coasters.
